Maylee's Garden is owned by Libby Goldsmith proud mama of Maylee. She hand grates the soap to be used in each batch. This soap is ecologically friendly and Vegan. Custom scents are welcome challenges to Libby.
The scents I chose to purchase are Lavender Cedar and Earth Musk Cedar. Both scents are amazing. Believe me when I say that whenever I receive a shipment of soap from Maylee's Garden - I can't wait to do laundry. I am literally searching for laundry to do so that I can use this soap.
All that is necessary to wash a load of laundry is 2 - 5 TBSP of soap. Yes, that small amount cleans your laundry plus you get a free aromatherapy session to boot. No, the scent does not over power your laundry in fact it does not stick to your clothing like other detergents do. It is perfect for those with sensitive skin. This soap works in HE machines and works even in cold water loads.
The ingredients:
· Soybean and Coconut Oils
· Fragrance or Essential Oils
· Borax
· Sodium
That is an ingredient list you can pronounce and trust is not going to cause ill effect to your clothing or your body.
I first met Libby on a Sewing Forum and purchased handmade skirts from her. It was soon after that she tried her hand at making soap.
Her scents change according to seasons but she is always willing to make a custom batch. As Libby says "If it comes in a fragrance or essential oil, I can make it".
